next installment of modularis – modular synth meet up and gig showcasing some great and varied use of modular equipment…
lev kowalczwk coming over from ireland and bringing field processing to modularis for the first time – a great way to lead into urban exploration, also using field recordings cut into loops and journeying through into techno and experimental beats where tIB takes the reigns leading up into silent running’s experimental techno>>>
same great venue – full circle – with improved setup space, hearty and well priced food and drinks all day, free car parking on site.
come an check out whats happening synth-wise an meet like minded folk!!

yes at long last – i finally got off the bench and into the real world – well almost. its only on stripboard at the moment although i have a pcb design ready – just trying to gauge numbers before production. the panels are looking good though – a local engravers using aluminum clad plastic – nice way around the price, look great and no need for inking.
so string theory then is an expansion module for the AFG – its not a flux capacitor proper and livewire will eventually release that, but until then (which might be some time) this gives access to a great variety of timbres. 2 x 2 way switches give 4 ‘dimensions’ and a knob gives a sweep across the ‘field’ (the final panel will be changed to this) and also a level control for the 5v p-p cv input.
this is the first of many i hope – theres a dual synced filter (demo soon) i have a matrix style sequencer prototyped and theres calls for my slider sequencers, plus ive the radio oscillator and im just working on an asynchronous sequencer/lfo/envelope generator – magnox is born!
